The Students' DigiMart Community Pledge
Every DigiMartian agrees to this pledge.
Students' DigiMart works because students trust other students — this is what every DigiMartian agrees to by using the platform, the baseline for how we treat each other here.
1. List honestly
Describe items accurately, disclose their real condition and any defects, and use real photos of the actual item — not stock images.
2. Price fairly
No bait-and-switch listings, and no deliberately misleading prices to drive clicks.
3. Show up, or speak up
If you can't make a meetup, say so — don't ghost. Respect other students' time.
4. Meet safely
Stick to daylight hours and busy, public campus spots for exchanges. Never pressure anyone into a private or off-campus meetup.
5. Pay and inspect on your own terms
Students' DigiMart doesn't process payments, so inspect items fully before any money changes hands. Never send money in advance to someone you haven't met.
6. No harassment, no scams
Zero tolerance for threats, harassment, fraud, or attempts to collect other students' personal information for anything beyond the trade.
7. Report, don't retaliate
If something feels wrong, report it to us rather than escalating it yourself.
8. Respect the campus community
Everyone here is a fellow student. Treat listings, negotiations, and disagreements with the courtesy you'd want back.
By creating a listing or messaging another student on Students' DigiMart, you're agreeing to uphold this pledge.
